County BZA Upholds Ordinance, Denies Whipple Request

Kevin and Carol Whipple's request for a permanent special exception to enable them to have three individual septic systems rather than a private on-site sanitary sewage treatment plant required by county ordinances was denied on Wednesday.

CAC Grant Applications Available

The Community Action Coalition will be accepting grant applications for the 2011 funding cycle.  The CAC funds individuals, groups and organizations working to help abolish local drug and alcohol problems.
