With a name intentionally chosen to honor the German Heritage of Batesville, Pizza Hause opened on February 22, 1974 under the ownership of Lowell & Marge Yorn and Jack & Vicki Kellerman.
Beyond their exceptional pizzas, Pizza Haus offers an array of hoagies, signature salads, and burgers. A family-dining experience, Pizza Haus truly offers something for everyone at the table!
Pizza Haus is currently open for business Sunday through Thursday from 11 AM - 9 PM and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM - 10 PM.

2. Ison's Family Pizza
Another option for pizza lovers, Ison's Family Pizza offers a large menu featuring a range of options from the expected pizza, breadsticks, and salads to unique options like their pizza sticks, wings, hoagies, and zero-carb chicken crust pizza. For those with a sweet tooth, Ison's even offers delicious dessert options such as cake, cinnamon breadsticks with icing, and a full-service soft serve bar! 3. Big Four Cafe
As described on their website, The Big Four Cafe is a "relaxed and comfortable place to share a meal, maybe a few stories, and get to know your neighborhood history." With a history dating back over 100 years, the cafe features original factory lighting from the American Furniture Factory and re-purposed table tops made from salvaged, virgin timber. The menu consists of mouthwatering dishes created from scratch, using locally sourced ingredients. Drawing inspiration from Chef Devin Murchin's experience as the master chef for Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and his culinary degree from Johnson & Wells Culinary School, the seasonal menus offer a delightful culinary journey. Operating every day, this charming establishment is a boutique restaurant that showcases a curated selection of specialty coffees, beers, and wines, personally chosen by Chef Devin's wife, Phoenix Murchin, a 3 pin sommelier and Italian wine ambassador.
